These policies apply to all ForgeLine products. We keep them honest and plain — no legalese for its own sake.
ForgeLine Systems LLC builds AI-powered tools for small business owners. Our products send and receive SMS, monitor online reviews, track inventory, manage schedules, and handle customer communications on your behalf. All products are operated by ForgeLine Systems LLC (EIN 41-4903136).
Business information: Business name, phone number, industry, and owner contact info — provided when you sign up or configure a product.
Customer data you provide: When you log a job, a shift, an inventory item, or a customer name — that data is stored and used to run the product on your behalf.
Communication records: Inbound and outbound SMS messages sent through our products are logged for product functionality (e.g., tracking conversation state, confirming a booking, checking in on a shift).
Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. ForgeLine never stores card numbers or banking details.
Third-party access (Gold Star only): If you connect a Google Business Profile to Gold Star, we receive an OAuth token that allows us to read your reviews and post approved responses. We request only the minimum permissions required. See the Gold Star privacy page for details.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your customer data with other businesses or use it to train AI models.
ForgeLine products send SMS messages to phone numbers you provide or that contact our products directly. By providing a phone number or texting one of our product numbers, you consent to receive SMS messages related to the service (appointment reminders, shift confirmations, inventory alerts, review notifications, etc.).
Message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving messages from a specific product, reply STOP to any message from that number. For help, reply HELP.
We use Telnyx as our primary SMS carrier. Telnyx may process message metadata as part of delivery. Message content is not shared with Telnyx beyond what is required for delivery.
Each third party processes only the data necessary for their function and is subject to their own privacy policy.
We retain your data for as long as you are an active subscriber. When you cancel, your data is deleted within 30 days upon written request to hello@forgelinesystems.com. Communication logs may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging and compliance purposes.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database credentials and API keys are stored as encrypted environment variables. OAuth tokens (Gold Star) are stored encrypted. We do not log or store payment card data.
Our products are intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

By using any ForgeLine Systems product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all products operated by ForgeLine Systems LLC.
ForgeLine builds AI-powered tools that help small business owners handle communications, scheduling, inventory, reviews, and customer engagement via SMS and web. We act as your agent — sending messages, drafting responses, and surfacing information on your behalf, as you configure us to do.
You authorize ForgeLine to send SMS messages on your behalf to phone numbers you provide or that contact your product numbers. You represent that you have the right to send messages to those contacts under applicable law (including TCPA and CAN-SPAM where applicable). ForgeLine is not liable for messages sent based on inaccurate contact lists or unlawful instructions you provide.
ForgeLine products use AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate messages, summaries, responses, and analysis. AI output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content where review is offered before it is sent. ForgeLine is not liable for the content of AI-generated messages that you approve or that are sent automatically based on your configured rules.
You may not use ForgeLine products to:
ForgeLine reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, without refund.
We build reliable products and maintain them actively. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions, third-party outages (SMS carriers, AI providers, databases), or events outside our control.
ForgeLine's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Our products are provided "as is" with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes via SMS or email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ada County, Idaho.
